This Months Artists is Famous When Dead.
So, tell us a brief bit about yourself. Where you were born, grew up and where you are now.
Hi, Im FAMOUS WHEN DEAD, born and raised in sunny Stoke on Trent where I now live with my own young family, surprisingly, Im into art.
How did you get into art?
I kind of just fell into it.
What are the influences behind your Work?
Everything and nothing, thats a really difficult question to answer, at the moment thought Im really into American low brow art but really, you can find inspiration all around you, you just have to open your eyes.
Which fellow artists do you admire?
There are way too many to list and half of them I dont remember their names, but I would say right now that Cleon Peterson and Blu are 2 artists that are definitely worth watching.
Tell us about 1 of your pieces on the Canvas Lounge website, the inspiration, the colours, and is it your favourite piece on the site?
Its got to be I it Blame the Radio Waves the inspiration was a previous painting that I did called Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer which was an experimental piece exploring the notion of organized chaos, the ideas with the colours was simply to use as many different ones as possible, I think this would be my favourite piece on the Canvas Lounge, its certainly the one that Im most protective over
What do you think of the Canvas Lounge?
I think the Canvas Lounge stinks, ha-ha you didnt see that coming, no honestly I think its ace, Ive been working with the canvas lounge for several years now and hope to continue doing so for many more years
